Meet Huxley – Looking for His Forever Home 

Huxley is a 6-year-old Rottweiler mix who was rescued from Contra Costa Animal Services just minutes before he was scheduled to be euthanized. This handsome boy has been through more than any dog should. After his family's home was destroyed in a fire, they were forced to stay in a hotel that couldn't accommodate pets. Huxley was left in the backyard and was only fed once a day. Eventually, his family surrendered him to the shelter. Despite everything he has endured, Huxley remains a sweet, loving, and affectionate dog who simply wants to be loved. He weighs approximately 73 pounds and is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Huxley does well with people and can get along with other dogs with proper introductions. He would thrive in a loving, stable home with a family committed to giving him the care, security, and unconditional love he deserves for the rest of his life. Meet LOBO – Your New Best Friend!  Lobo is a sweet, loving 9-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who was rescued from East Valley Animal Shelter on what was scheduled to be his last day. Like any puppy, he didn't understand why he found himself alone in a shelter kennel instead of in a loving home.
